New Taxa of Lysimachi and Plantago in the Three-Gorge Reservoir Area

Abstract:
Two new varieties of plants were found in the Three Gorge Reservior Area.One was named Lysimachia rubiginosa Hemsl.var.ziguiensis Z.E.Zhao et J.Q.Wu,belonged to Primulaceae.It was different when compared with L.rubiginosa Hemsl.var.rubiginosa,it characterized with four leaved verticillation.The other was named Plantago erosa Wall.var.fengdouensis Z.E.Zhao et Y.Wang,belonged to Plantaginaceae.Compared with P.erosa Wall.,it has lance shaped and trinervious leaves,and flowers without stems.The styluses of flowers are 4~7 mm long and glabrous.
