DETERMINATION OF POLLINIZERS FOR MAJOR GROWN CULTIVARS OF CHINESE SOUTHERN PEAR

The pollination combinations of 12 sand-pear cultivars of southern China were tested for pollination efficiency in this experiment. The results showed the pollinating effects of reciprocal crosses in the pollination combinations were significantly different. Based on the different pollinating effects, Ergongbai and 5-109 were selected as pollinizers for Jingshui No.2, Annong No. 1 for Jingshui No.1 and Jingshui No. 2 for Ergongbai.
