This paper reported the overall embryological studies of Momordica charantia L.by means of paraffin wax.Cytokinesis of microsporocyte during meiotic division is of simultaneaous type.Tetrasporophyte is tetrahedral or zygomorphic.The mature pollen grain is of 2-cell.The (ovary) is trilocular.The ovule is anatropous,bitegmious,crassinucellate.Megaspore tetrad is (linear).The chalazal megaspore develops into an embryo sac of Polygonum type.There are storage products in cytoplasm of the central cell.The polar nuclei fuse during fertilization.Double ferti-(lization) is the type of the Premitotic syngamy.The 3 antipodal cells disappeared as the process of double fertilization.Embyogeny conforms to the Onagrad type.Endosperm formation is nuclear type and the endosperm forms chalazal haustorium.
