Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphism (AFLP) a New Molecular Marker
|
Abstract:
AFLP is a new technique for molecular marker. Compared with RFLP, RAPD, the great number of fragment can be visualized simultaneously by AFLP. Therefore, AFLP has been widely used in plant genetics and breeding since 1993. This paper describes the AFLP technique in detail and discusses the future application of the AFLP technique in plant genetics and breeding.
