Comprehensive Assessment and Analysis of Eco-environment in Farming-pasturing Interlock Area of Northern China
|
Abstract:
The farming-pasturing interlock region of the northern China is a typical and ideal zone for studying ecological environment background condition. The vulnerable ecological environment in this area is attributed to natural conditions and human activities.First, the study built the diagnostic indicators of ecological environment background condition, based on multi-subject spatial data that reflect the characters of ecological environment;then, evaluated the ecological environment by the use of the digital grid model and the spatial analytical method; next, analyzed the spatial pattern of ecological environment. The results are as follows:(1) The eco-environment background condition becomes worse from southeast to northwest in the farming-pasturing interlock region of the northern China.(2) The ecological environment background condition of the majority counties is moderate in the studied 205 counties, that of Yanchi county in Ningxia is the worst, and that of Xinglong county in Hebei is the best.
