Ground Discriminance on Positive and Negative Processes of Land Desertification in Horqin Sand Land
科尔沁沙地沙漠化正逆过程的地面判别方法

Based on field survey and multiyear in situ observation, also in needs of desertification process research, this paper introduced the ground distinguished methods on positive and negative processes of land desertification. The concepts of sand land, sand dune and desertified land etc. and the differences among the concepts were explained, and the assessment indicator systems on sand land, sand dune and desertified land and some questions for attention to use these indicator systems were introduced. Through analyzing the primary factors to influence the development directions and processes of desertification, the paper established the ground distinguished indicator systems, and discussed the source and developing direction of different types of sand dune. These assessment indicator systems and methods was practical to filed investigation and location research of desertification processes in Horqin Sand Land and other areas with similar environment.
