The Observation of Cell phytomorphology of the Double Fertilization and Embryogenesis in Liriodendron Chinense( Hemsl) Sary

This paper observed the double fertilization and embryogenesis by means of conventional methods in Liriodendron chinense. The polarity of the egg is undistinct. Triple fusion occurs after the arrival of one sperm nucleus at the two pola nuclei. Fertilization conforms to premitotic. The species has an initial cellular endosperm and embryo of the onagrad type. This paper also discussed the factors which caused the lower productivity of this species.
