Review of Research into Establishing a DNA Fingerprinting Database of New Chinese Maize Cultivars
中国玉米新品种标准DNA 指纹库构建研究的几点思考

We summarize five main problems in establishing a DNA fingerprinting database of new Chinese maize cultivars: choice of maize varieties, choice of molecular techniques, problems of simple sequence repeat (SSR) techniques, choice of SSR markers and efficiency in techniques. We present possible solutions and discuss the prospect and main applications for the database.
