Recent Advances on Molecular Biology of Starch Biosynthesis in Rice (Oryza sativa L.)
水稻淀粉合成的分子生物学研究进展

The recent advances on molecular biology of starch biosynthesis in rice ate reviewed in this paper. The main contents consist of identification and characterization of the enzymes involved in starch biosynthesis and the gene expression of the corresponding enzymes in rice. The potential manipulation on the genes to change the enzyme activity for improvement of rice starch quality is also introduced.
