Advances in Study on Metabolism and Regulation of Proline in Higher Plants under Stress

The latest progresses of the regulation mechanism of stress on the proline metabolism and the causes of proline accumulation at molecular level under stress are reviewed. The relationship between proline and polyamines metabolism is also pointed out.
