Study on Drought Resistance of Abies concolor

To investigate the successful introduction of Abies concolor in an area, we surveyed several indices representing drought resistance under simulated conditions of drought. We used 6-month-old seedlings of nine provenances of A. concolor and three species of domestic firs: A. holophylla, A. fabric and A. squamata. Results were analyzed for determining the best area for growth of A. concolor.
