The Effects of Some Hormones on Bud Induction and Propagation of Spathiphyllum Sp.

When root and stem explants of spathiphyllum sp. introduced from Japan were cultured on MS medium supplemented with different hormone proportion, it was found that MS medium With 2mg/L BA and 1mg/L KT was the best for bud induction; by adding different kind of cytokinin and auxin and different concentrations of BA, it was testified that MS medium supplemented with 1mg/L BA and 0.1mg/L IAA was helpful for hud propagation; about 15 days after bud transfering into the medium for root induction, white roots would develop, and then followed by complete plants.
