THE INFLUENCE OF TUNNELLING SIZE AND SHAPE ON LIMIT DISPLACEMENTS

Abstract:
The limit displacements of tunnelling is influenced by surrounding rock, tunnelling size and shape, supported structure form and thickness, constructing method and failure form. The limit displacements of standard railway tunnel lining are imitated. The imitated results are analyzed and compared with the permitted relative displacements of railway tunnel norms.
