A DETERMINATION METHOD OF JOINT SHEAR STRENGTH

Abstract:
A formula is established on the relationship of joint rebound values and basic friction angles. Some methods are presented to determine the joint uniaxial compressive strength and basic friction angle, and to measure joint roughness by photograph measuring method. A determination method of joint shear strength is established based on the rebound test, photograph measuring method and the test results.
