PROBABILITY ANALYSIS OF SAND LIQUEFACTION

Abstract:
The four probability methods of sand liquefaction analysis are introduced: (1) homogeneous poisson model, (2) comprehensive probability, (3) total probability, (4) critical acceleration. The later two methods can be used in earthquake hazard analysis directly, and the result is similar to usual methods, as the example indicates.
