THE APPLICATION OF EFFECTIVE LOAD COEFFICIENT TO THE DEEP MINING IN SUNCUN COLLIERY

Abstract:
With field measurement,model testing and calculation,the main factors are analyzedwhich affects the deformation and damage of gallery in deep mining of Suncun colliery.The mathematic relations are established among effective load coefflcient, original stresses, moving abutment, and fixed abutment. The critical values of the effective load coefficient are found when the deformation of gallery occurs. The relations can be used to guidethe layout of galleries,determine the methods to maintain galleries and estimate the deformatfon of existing galleries. The reason to result in serious deformation and damage ofgalleries in Suncun colliery is considered as the combined actions of mining depth, rockstrength, and mining influence.
