ON THE APPLICATION OF FIBER OPTICAL SENSOR TO GEOMECHANICS AND GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING
光纤传感技术在岩土力学与工程中的应用研究

The main speciality and difficulty of geotechnic monitoring are summarized, and the superiority of the application of fiber optical sensor to geomechanics and geotechnical engineering is further discussed. The adjustablity and type of fiber optical sensor are analyzed based on the principle of optical propagation in fiber. Some research results are introduced, and further development and prospect of fiber optical sensor are indicated, too.
