ATTENUATION MECHANISM AND APPLICATION STUDY OF HIGH IMPULSE ELECTROMAGNATIC WAVE PROPOGATION OF GPR

Abstract:
The attenuation behaviors and mechanism of high frequency impulse electromagnatic wave during its propagation in heterogeneous subground medium are analyzed. The analysis results are applied to the engineering prospecting of infirm ground and damages caused by mining. The application results indicate that the method for studying the stability of the ground by means of attenuation hehaviors of high frequency impulse electromagnetic wave of GPR is feasible,and has good application foreground in future.
