NEW VIEW ON BEARING CAPACITY OF SOFT ROCK FOUNDATION
对软质岩石地基承载力的一点新认识

It is not reasonable to determine the bearing capacity of rock foundation only by checking tables or experience comparision. It is necessary to evaluate of the bearing capacity on the basis of variety of measurements for rock foundation. Taking the rock foundation of a high building as an example, many tests were made in site, based on which available bearing capacity of the foundation was obtained.
