Through analysing the testing principle of two dimensional particle motion and applying the technology of high narrow gap scanning photography, a new testing system is established. This system can register the locus and velocity of two dimensional particle motion, thus widen the study field of high speed narrow gap scanning photography from one dimensional case to two dimensional case.
