STUDY ON THE ANISOTROPIC UNLOADING ROCK MASS MECHANICS FOR THE STEEP-HIGH ROCK SLOPE OF THE THREE GORGES PROJECT PERMANENT SHIPLOCK
|
Abstract:
Owing to the different mechanics conditions of rock mass engineering under loading and unloading, there are essential distinctions between the mechanics properties of rock masses. The mechanics condition of rock slope engineering is mainly unloading with enough ground stress releasing. The anisotropic unloading rock mass mechanics, a new concept in geo-technipues. is put forward by the author in study of the steep-high rock slope of the Three Gorges Project shiplock, and has different conclusion from current rock mass mechanics. The anisotropic unloading rock mass mechanics has been initially testified by variety of rock mass slopes and underground projects, also rock mass of the Three Gorges Project shiplock.
