THE CONSTITUTIVE EQUATION OF CONTINUUM DAMAGE FOR ROCK

The effective modulus of elastic body with distributed cracks combined with thecontinuum damage mechanics are firstly considered.The influence of the damage on material property is divided into two parts.One is the stress change,the other is the moduluschange.Damage law is obtained by using the Drucker law.With assuming the two kindsof inelastic deformation,the whole constitutive equation is obtained,The results got fromthis equation is quit similar to the experiment facts.
