The development history and present state of grouting technique are summarized. The existing problems and the development trend are also illustrated at the same time. The construction measures of adding bearing plate on the ground are taken so as to enhance the effect and the reliability of improvement. The work mechanism and improvement effect are systematically analyzed. The corresponding design principles and the structural measures are given. The method has been applied to the engineering practice successfully.
