Advances on Localization and Molecular Mechanism of FecB Gene
|
Abstract:
FecB gene, litter size in Booroola sheep, increases ovulation rate and is inherited as a single autosomal locus. FecB has been mapped to sheep chromosome 6q23-q31, and major gene on ovulation rate of Booroola sheep has been found. In this paper, exact localization and molecular mechanism are reviewed.
