A study of enzymolysis for chromosome preparation from chorionic villus was established upon previous work. Essential feature of this technique was to merge cell separation from the cytotrophoblastic layer, treatment with hypotonic solution and colchicine treatment into one step. This technique significantly improved the 'success rate of chromosome analysis from CVS. The results of the study were discussed.
