A METHOD TO DETERMINE WATER CONTENT IN MELT INCLUSION

It is the only direct way to know water content in magma by measure CH2o In melt Inclusion (MI ). This study give a new way to determine CH2o in MI by the following formula:In any case if in MI exist crystal muscovite, the CH2o should be calculated by another formula as following:Where V0 represent the volume of muscovite ,VL is the volume of liquid phase, V., the volume of gas phase, V,, the volume of melt imclusin . n represent the volume ratio of MI from home temperature to homogeneous temperature, k the volume ratio of MI from liquid-homogeneous temperature to homogeneous temperature, and F=VL/(nVL kVG).
