In this study,many pure methane fluid inclusions have been found for the first time in the volcanic rocks of Yingcheng Formation,which is one of the mainly natural gas reservoir strata in the deep level parts of The Songliao basin.This type of fluid inclusions mainly occurred as primary and secondary ones in the quart? phenocrysts of rhyolite and quartz fill in the air vents of basalt.
