GEOCHEMISTRY CHARACTERISTICS AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO THE METALLOGENY OF ORE-BEARING ROCKBODY NO YI1.AT KALATONGKE, XINGJIANG
|
Abstract:
This Paper discusses comprehensively on the geochemistry characteristics and their relationship to the metallogeny of rockbody No. Y1 at Kalatongke. The results indicate that: (1 ) The rockody is characterized by richness in Mg, Fe and alkaline, and by lowness or poorness in Ca and Al. It belongs to ferrobasic rock type; (2) The rockbody is single (not a complex ). Its petrofacies are the result of magmatic crystallization and differentiation in the same mothrer magma; (3) Its initial magma is of theleiitic character, and the primary strontium ratio is about 0. 7033. The rockody is formed about at 271 Ma; (4 )The major factor which causes differentiation of the sulfide melt from the silicate melt is the content change of oxides in melt with the magmatic crystallization and differentiation when the physical and chemical condition changes .and the major factor of cumulation of sulfide melt to the extent of rich orebody is gravity process.
