Melting and dissolution behaviors of frozen synthetic fluid inclusion for the system NaCI-CaCl2-H2O
|
Abstract:
After the studies on synthetic fluid inclusions by Ni et al, in 2003 and Ding et al. in 2005, synthetic fluid inclusions for the system NaCI-CaCl2-H2O were formed by healing the artificial cracks in the crystal, Petrographic and microthermometric measurements were conducted on these synthetic fluid inclusions. The melting and dissolution behavior of these inclusions were discussed based on the phase diagram. The synthetic inclusions trapped the primary solution, and the cryogenic behaviors were consistent with the phase diagram of NaCI-CaCl2-H2O system, therefore the results obtained from synthetic fluid inclusions can be applied to the natural fluid inclusions. Synthetic fluid inclusions can improve the phase diagram and on analysing the natural inclusions.
