REE geochemistry of ore-forming fluids of gold deposits in Junggar area, Xinjiang
|
Abstract:
Many different types of gold mines occur in Jungger area, Xinjiang. Rare earth elements and isotopes in gold mines including Hatu Gold Mine, Baogutu Gold Mine, Kuorzhenkoula Gold Mine and Kekesayi Gold Mine have been studied to discuss the genesis of gold mines so as to provide ore-prospecting basement. It shows that though all the gold mines occur in different forms and scales, they are all originated from pluton and mixed by sediment during formation process. Quartz vein-type orebody and altered-rock-type orebody in Hatu Gold Mine were formed by superimposition of two fluids with different genesis. Quartz vein-type orebody is mainly intimately related with magmatic fluid of Hatu ore body, and altered-rock-type orebody is with plutonic fluid. Ore-forming fluids of Baogutu, Kuorzhenkela and Kekesayi Gold Mines are mainly originated from pluton and generally influenced by shallow-seated fluid during ore-forming process. Characteristics of REE of the fluid inclusions in minerals indicate the original source of ore-forming fluid. However, the analytical results of REE of minerals might display the special epigenic geological process of ore deposit. This will be father discussed in the future' s research.
