THE FEATURE OF HELIUM AND ARGON IN SOIL GASES IN GUANGRAO AREA AND IT''S SIGNIFICANCE FOR OIL-GAS EXPLORATION
|
Abstract:
The changes of helium in soil gases to are used in geochemical oil-gas exploration Caoqiao, Quangrao County, Shendong Province. As associated compositions in oil-gas pool, argon and helium have the significance as primitive indicator. Their migration is only a physical process not subjected to any chemical changes, so argon is an ideal indicator as helium. Argon isotope in soil is significant for locating the oil gas pool, but also can reflect the ability of leakage of the covering strata. Eight patterns are established for helium, argon and hydrocarbon, which can complement and verify each other, and enhance the ability of synthetical appraisal.
