Molecular methodes in microbiology study of rocks: Microbial research in Chinese Continental Scientific Drilling(CCSD).

In this paper, we discussed five commonly used molecular techniques in Chinese Continental Scientific Drilling (CCSD) Microbiology Research,such as DNA extraction from environment, 16S rDNA analysis, Real - time PCR and phosphate lipid fatty acids (PLFA) analysis. The contamination control was explored, some preliminary results were also reported.
