SIGNIFICANCE OF TRACE ELEMENT PARTITION BETWEEN OCELLI-MATRIX OF OCELLAR BIOTITE-PYROXENE-SYENITE, YUANGYUAN, HEBEI

Abstract:
The ocellar biotite-pyroxene-syenite from pyroxenite-syenitec omplex, Yuangyuan, Hebei, is production of silicate liquid immiscibility. The partition for trace elements and REE in ocelli-matrix of ocellar biotite-pyroxene-syenite is investigated, The paper points out that three factors control partition of elements in immiscible melt-melt, and establishes the relationship between relative polymerizatione of the two immiscible melts (NBO/T)_(M/O))with element partition cofficients(D_(M/O)) The results may be used to distinguish silicate liquid immiscibility from other processes and to investigate geneses of rocks.
