A Fast Wind Vector Search Algorithm for Ocean Surface Wind Retrieval
一种海面风场反演的快速风矢量搜索算法

Based on the MLE(Maximum Likelihood Estimation) algorithm for SeaWinds scatterometer wind retrieval and according to the general distribution characteristics of its objective function,a fast wind vector search algorithm is described and realized in this paper.Using some SeaWinds L2A data,the fast algorithm is validated and compared with the ordinary one.The results indicate that the fast algorithm is more efficient than the ordinary one without reducing the retrieval accuracy.
