Some Issues in System Integration of Web-Based Geographic Information Systems

Based on the overview of GIS software development in recent years, some issues in system integration of Web-based geographic information systems are discussed, such as distributed Web-based GIS architecture, distributed GIS Client / Server model, and method for long geo-processing transaction. Some new concepts and new technology related to open geographic information system are also introduced.
