Roles of Remote Sensing Technology on Monitoring Resources and Environment and Its Trends
遥感技术在资源环境监测中的作用及发展趋势

The recent developing status both home and abroad on application of remote sensing technology to investigating resources utility and monitoring environment changes is analyzed and reviewed in this paper.It is demonstrated that remote sensing technology plays a non fungible role in realizing real time,macrolevel,dynamic and continuous measurement of earth resources and environment based on a lot of examples.By listing international satellite remote sensing plans next decade,the authors analyzed the trends of remote sensing technology.The authors also predict that remote sensing technology will be main tools of dynamic monitoring,operational forecasting and disaster warning,etc.during 21st century.Remote sensing technology will also be improved well and it will be important means providing the Governments with data of sustainable development.
