Digital Library and the Automation System at Peking University Library
数字图书馆及北京大学在图书馆自动化方面的实践

This paper gives a brief introduction about digital library, its concept and characteries. It is also illustrated what we have done for the automation system of Peking university library and what we have studies for digital library. The article describes that it is necessary and possible to complete library modernization creatively and independently in China.
