Chinese Physics Database (CPD)is a new,comprehensive system which contains information collection,data processing,data management,thesaurus management,retreival services,data magnetic disk production and Chinese Physics Abstracts pubilition,with functions and practicality.The studing and estabilishing process of Chinese Physics Database(CPD)and its system was introduced.The functions of CPD and its applications were described in detail.
