On the Automation of Medium-Sized and Small Library

Based on the experience and outlook of Library of Yantai Teachers' College,this paper relates the development of library automation from its starting point, closed situation to being open, and from being management-oriented to being service-oriented and presents its rare experiences on the automation of medium and small sized libraries.
