In this article,the author introduce some foreign typical cases in the area of d atabase copyright protection and basic priciple of protection.We also discuss some thorny issues,including industrious collection priciple,original priciple,fair use,duration and so on.Then the author provide some suggestions to enhance intellectual property right protection for China database industry.
