Hooker has raised a Six Foci of Personality Model based on the theory of personality three levels. The former three foci of it are traits, personal action constructions and life story that suggest the nature of personality structure. The latter three foci are state, self-regulation and self-narrating which processing the corresponding structures. The model provides an explaining frame for the results of aging researches.
