In this paper, the author briefly introduces the background of the Network of University Library of Guangdong (NULOG) and discusses the objectives of the network. Current progress of the network is also described, including the status of the network, the complete set for hardware, the system software, the database system, the exploit tools, the exploit and features for the application systems, and the database size in the system. The further design and goals for the network are discussed in the paper.
