Recently,the construction of regional science and technology information networks that are located in certain areas is developing rapidly during the building of our country s science and technology information networks.This paper has summarized the outlines and characteristics of construction on the regional science and technology information networks and location of this kind of networks.This work gives a good reference to the communication network platform, the system hardware and software platform,the database platform , the development of information resources, and the construction of regional science and technology infrmation networks.
