Thinking on the Construction of a Integrated Academic Library Automation System
关于高校图书馆自动化集成系统建设的思考

The standard of library automation depends on MIS. The development of software bases on the library work requirement and adapts to the environment and the trend, aiming at the improvement of the information service quality. An integrated academic library automation system should be a modern MIS basing on the Internet and information service, including modern office and electronic business. This paper discusses the development trend of the integrated library automation system and points out the inadequacy of the system being used today.
