In this paper,the method of defining Field Select Table by using CDS/ISIS V2.3 software is introduced and on the basis of the knowledge from the author's experience,the definition of Field Select Table,emphatically utilizing and developing formatting language function of the software,by adding prefix-literals and suffi x-literals,combinating *offset and .length command as well as using IF command and function is cxpounded comprehensivelly and detail.
