These years,impression management has increasingly drawn attention to sociology and psychology.It has become an important research variable.This paper reviewed the origin of the conception of impression management and its progress, introduced the status of oversea and domestic research,gave a commentary on prevenient research and make prospect for the future.It offers a new way for our country to make more research on impression management.
