Quantitative Analysis on the Journals in Psychology from SCI & SSCI

Abstract:
Based on bibliometric methods, the authors made statistical analysis and contrastive research on the 455 journals in psychology from 2004 SCI/SSCI by means of JCR in order to find their characteristics and existing problems.The most influential 28 kinds of international journals in psychology in 2004 are recommended for Chinese psychological researchersreference in terms of qualities of publishing and choices of submitting. Discipline orientation of psychology and citation issues of Chinese journals in psychology were also discussed.
