Managing Wholesale Price Contract in the Supply Chain under Disruptions

Even though the wholesale price contract does not coordinate the supply chain,it is worth studying because it is commonly observed in practice.In this paper,we deal with the problem of optimal response to disruptions in supply chain management.When demand distribution faced by retailer is fluctuated by disruptions,we obtain the optimal react strategy of supply chain.We prove that,for the supply chain under wholesale price contract,only if the demand scale are changed largely by disruptions the supplier adjusts his production plan,but he will change his wholesale price properly.Some managerial points and numerical simulation are given.
