On the Harmonious Development of Economies, Modernization, Industrialization, Urbanization and Intellectualization in China

Industrialization, urbanization, intellectualization and modernization are inevitable processes in regional economic and social development. This paper discusses the relationship between modernization, industrialization, urbanization, intellectualization and economic development in China's provincial regions from different angles. In the paper we use many kinds of statistical methods on the basis of the enormous data. From the coastal east to the middle and then to the west part of China, all indexes decrease gradually. But between the South and the North, the comparison is more complex. The North's economic development lags behind the social advancement, while in the South it's the vice versa. Simultaneously urbanization, intellectualization and modernization show their increase as growing curve with economic development. However, the relationship between them and industrialization isn't remarkable. And the impetus of social enhancement in industrialization and re\|industrialization, which is led by township enterprises, hasn't been brought into play adequately.
