Optimal Ordering Policy for Downward-substitute Perishable Products based on Variable Price

This paper analyzes the ordering policies on the full downward-substitute two generations perishable commodities at a discount.It also gives eloquent proof of the optimal conditions and the characters of the model.At the end,the paper finds a conclusion: Retailer can obtain more expected profit by selling substitutable products,ordering quantity of substituted products is positively correlative to the price discount,while ordering quantity of substitutable products is negatively correlation,expected profit is positively correlative to the price discount.
